Does polished concrete work in Vancouver’s wet climate?

Yes. We densify and seal the slab so it resists moisture and won’t harbour mould the way carpet or some wood floors can. For below-grade spaces we add a moisture-mitigating system first.

I live in a condo — can you still do polished concrete?

Often yes. Many Vancouver concrete high-rises have a slab we can grind and polish directly. Where strata rules or subfloors require it, we use a thin overlay instead.

How long does a typical Vancouver job take?

Most residential floors are completed in 2–4 days depending on size, condition and finish. Overlays and coatings can sometimes be done faster.

Is it slippery?

We can add a fine anti-slip additive to the sealer for kitchens, entries and commercial spaces while keeping the polished look.
